Semantic Reviews: Ladyhawke
http://semanticreviews.blogspot.com/2009/01/ladyhawke.html
Sunday, January 4, 2009. Label/Year: Modular Records, 2008. Semantic Volume 1, Issue 8. This past Fall, a few friends of mine had been raving about this sexy dance beast dubbed Ladyhawke. While traveling, I saw a poster for an upcoming show, and I was quite excited until I learned that the show was actually for Ladyhawk, a scruffy rock band from Vancouver. Oops. This prompted me to do my homework and acquire a copy of the real lady’s one and only album, Ladyhawke. 8221; and “ Paris is Burning. A lot of t...

The art of mislearning arts. Thursday, November 20, 2008. It's the time of semester where you can expect many, many blog updates. My work load isn't actually that bad, save for one long, brutal paper. I'm torn on plan of attack: should I just not bother thinking about it til the night before, or should I fake do them (i.e. now) until the night before? If I wait, I waste less time, but if I don't wait, I might inadvertedly get shit done. Plus, I'd waste my time anyways. Classes are good. Semantic.

Sunday, May 31, 2009. Cinque Terre, Italy. Today I ate the best pizza of my life. Holy moly, that is all I can think. Cinque Terre is absolutely stunning. The view is unexplainable, the only way to experience it is to come here yourself. This place raises far too many questions for me. The main one being why. Why would you build five villages on the side of a mountain above the Mediterranean Sea? Saturday, May 30, 2009. Today we visited the Ancient City and met up with Mitch. Friday, May 29, 2009. We spe...
