These places I should be. So on the 27th December some people from my work (I’m only there one day a week) went out for drinks. I didn’t go. I didn’t even realise it was that evening until it was too late. If I had realised earlier, I still would not have gone. But my Christmas was nice – my sister cooked dinner at her place. These places I should be. I have Social Anxiety. But it’s not just that I don’t like ‘social occasions’. I find social interaction very hard in general. I do what I can. These places I should be. Monthly Archives: December 2013. December 19, 2013 · 2:51 am. There is a place I should be tomorrow…my appointment with my new care coordinator! I really wish I didn’t have to be though! Why is mental health treatment such a disappointment? But I’m not sure this place I should be will pull me out of this place I am now. Maybe because we are told of these stories where people came back from the brink, and assume that it became so easy for them to turn it around when they realised they ‘needed help’ (and therefore sought help and help fixed them right up). Well, here I am back in Perth - finished the Sat report in the Qantas lounge in Adelaide but honestly did not have the steam to put my thoughts down about the final day.
