Tuesday, March 11, 2014. For all those who love Daizy already. This is also a long post I wrote on Facebook to help friends and family know what life will be like when we finally return to America. I posted this originally on January 12th thinking were coming home soon.now here I am posting it again on March 11th from Africa (still). I’m writing this letter in high hopes that we are coming home very soon! Adoption is a beautiful thing! 9726;As strange as it may seem, adopted children who act very outgoin...

Made by Quibby!: April 2010
http://quibbysbows.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 26, 2010. So I know that this was several weeks ago.but (as my motto goes) better late than never! The craft fair was actually a success. I spent no money to enter, hardly any money on things made, but walked away with about $65, which isnt bad at all! Especially considering my stuff is rather on the cheap side (most expensive thing is $10). Also it didnt seem to make a dent on my stock (this happens every time I enter, nothing really seems to be gone! 4 is good enough! Links to this post.

The Sisson's Jubilee: October 2011
http://thesissonsjubilee.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 27, 2011. Sidewalk chalk and a rainy afternoon make for 2 very happy ladies. Ready to make a beautiful sidewalk masterpiece. Or maybe just a masterpiece on my leg instead. She thought that was pretty clever. Oh how i do love this beautiful jubilee. Friday, October 21, 2011. Everett can barely wait for the peas. He's resorting to the bib. What in the world is that stuff? And Everett's thoughts on the matter. As always, it all worked out in the end. Full bellies, happy babies.

Tuesday, January 20, 2015. I couldn't be more proud of Daizy! I just wanted to take a minute to brag on her because she made A/B honor roll the first 9 weeks of school and this 9 weeks she made A honor roll. That is not an easy job for a kiddo who still lacks lots of context clues when it come to words, seasons, children's songs and stories, etc. She is an overcomer and I'm proud to be her momma! Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Counting Down the Days. I started to title this blog "it's the final count down" and immediately that song started blaring loudly in my head. Now I will have to find a song to replace that with. But I've been counting down the days and we are officially at. Thursday, March 21, 2013. To Those Who Wait. Oh the joy of seasons where all we can do is wait. The adoption process has been filled with moments of hurry up and get this done.and then. wait. I am waiting on You,. I am waiting...

remember the time...: July 2014
http://kbthomas.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 17, 2014. How in the world do I have a 9 year old? I blinked and she's so grown up. So I am partially joking and partially not. If you look back on pictures from December when I arrived in Uganda to get Daizy and pictures now it is unbelievable how much she has changed. My baby isn't a baby at all. Auntie Teri made her birthday extra special with a Frozen cake made by our dear friend Kala. It was beautiful and tasted amazing. Daizy loved her cake! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Head, Shoulder...

Friday, January 16, 2015. Well I suppose it's time to play catch up again. I now know why moms fall off the face of the blogging earth when they have kids. It's a full time job then you add on an actual paying full time job and forget blogging.when I have down time I am vegging out in front of the TV or sleeping. And this would be our circle of support that day. So thankful for our social worker and friend, Alicé. And incredibly thankful for my best friend and sister, Amy. Welcome to 38.I mean 37. Welcom...
