Friday, March 5, 2010. We finally got to play outside! It has FINALLY starting getting nice here! Okay, by nice I mean it was around 40 degrees today. Carter got to play outside.in the driveway, since the backyard is still covered with hard, crunchy snow. He rode all over and also played in the small part of grass in the front yard. Come on Spring! I hope you enjoy all the pics! Look what Justin found underneath the carpet! Laying the tile to see how it would fit. We kind of have a front yard again!

Wednesday, February 17, 2010. What we have been up to other than blogging. What do you do in Wisconsin when it is freezing outside? You go ice bike riding of course! Justin's friends Andy and Mike have been doing this for a couple years and invited us to come along one weekend. They use tires with special screws to ride on the ice. Really, it is neat to watch. Justin did some riding and really enjoyed it. I am way too big of a weenie. I decided to keep what dignity I have and just watch everyone else.

Thursday, March 19, 2009. What a big boy! Carter is FINALLY talking more and more. Some of his choice words are Jasper, boat, tractor, bug, uh oh, door, diaper, and dada. Did you notice Mama is not part of his choice words. He REFUSES to say Mama. You ask him to say Mama and he immediately answers "Dada! Justin loves it and Carter thinks it is even better when Daddy laughs when he says Dada. Oh well.someday! Carter helping Daddy move tires. Mommy, look at the plane! I stole Daddy's hat from work!

Sunday, May 17, 2009. Does it ever slow down? It seems like it just gets more and more busy this time of year! I can't believe how fast everything has flown by. My trip to Boise was WONDERFUL! This week Carter and I head to New York to visit my family. Grandma and Grandpa Hovey are going too, so it will be a really good time. We are already pretty booked up for our trips this summer. Monday, April 26, 2010. We are loving Spring! I know I keep saying this, but we are loving this weather! Carter trying to get me to smell his feet. Mowing the lawn for Dada. My garden. I have planted some stuff and will have to take some pics of how they look. Some tulips in the side yard. My tulips in the front yard. Flowers around the tree in the front yard. Carter doing his impression of a model! Carter's mammoth sunflower starting to come up. The tulips in front of the hedge. Craig, Carson, Bryanna.

Friday, April 16, 2010. I know I am doing terrible at keeping my resolution to update once a week. I do think about posting every week, almost every day, does that count? Carter is not napping anymore so my day is spent keeping both of us pretty busy. He is not too patient with me on the computer and has resorted to telling me to "get off puter Mama!
