The Thomas' In Doha. Tuesday, 27 September 2011. On Saturday, our awesome buddies Jamie and Claire (and baby Emma) took us to the Souk. The souk is the old market part of Doha and has loads of little shops, cafes and restaurants. They took us to their favourite Lebanese restaurant and we had some really nice food. The Thomas' In Doha. Thursday, 27 October 2011. Thank goodness that is over with. A week full of lesson observations and meetings ended with the inspectors leaving school on Wednesday. To be fair it wasn't all that bad. We had two boards of inspectors from the British Government and another load from the Council of International Schools. All went well and fingers crossed for positive feedback. Tonight we are going to the Principals house for a well deserved drink or two. Chow for now,. Neil and Zoe x.

The Thomas' In Doha. Monday, 23 January 2012. The last two weeks. We haven’t done a great deal- thanks to me! I played in a trial match for Doha RFC on the 5. Of January and managed to dislocate my patella (knee cap! I was off work for a week and a bit and told to rest as much as possible. This meant Zoe having to everything and she has been the perfect wife/ taxi driver/ maid/ chef (she will say what's new! Needless to say she hasn’t been too impressed by the whole experience!
