Friday, November 26, 2010. Playing with PMC Pro. Well, I think I'm hooked. I actually didn't want PMC Pro to work so well because I've never been a fan of the whole carbon business. but it does. This stuff is soooo tough! This ring has a band as thick as a nickel and it won't bend - I tried to twist it and it didn't budge. Not me - till now. I tried to squeeze and crush it and. nothing. Since that went so well, I made another one like it with some really skinny. I did try my new kistka. On this clay beca...

Julz Glass: More recycled glass with emamel color
http://julzglass.blogspot.com/2013/02/more-recycled-glass-with-emamel-color.html
Sunday, February 17, 2013. More recycled glass with emamel color. Window glass turns a fine ice-blue color after being fired in the kiln. I love the ice-blue color,. But adding a bit of enamel can bring a new dimension to my glass pieces. I ordered a sample selection of enamels from Thompson Enamel. And have loved experimenting with the opaque and transparent colors. Pre-fired glass blanks in the kiln. The enamel colors don't really show themselves until after firing. I love the color.
