http://tanrinia.livejournal.com/135305.html
What the dark and the wild and the different know. Sep 16th, 2006 at 8:47 AM. I was just gonna put dayton and dublin together, as it really is just one festival, interrupted briefly by a work week. however, this dayton one is getting too long for that. What can i say? The dayton celtic festival has really grown on us. it's small, but not too small. beautiful location on the bank of the miami river. AND they have guinness, harp, and smithwick! Saw our friends in homeland. Pretend you remember people?

what an ass - My Life
http://freydis.livejournal.com/231516.html
Epicuria Baking and Catering Company. What an ass - My Life. And the crap I have to go through. 10:46 pm August 10th, 2006. I don't pay much attention to Bobby Flay. He annoys me. But tonight, it went to a whole new level. Have you seen "Throwdown"? What an effin joke. He has at least 2 'helpers' who do all the prep work, and the other guy doesn't even know he's in a competition. Plus, Bobby Flay is an ass anyway. The show was making me all mad like. So, I made a new icon, just for him. Or Leave a comment.

I've been mulling over a line ouf ot. S post on Good Heathens:. I IMHO "bad heathens" are both the ones who import cultural influences from outside the heathen world and make them home - but also those who stereotype the "heathen" title too far, making it into a "club of like minded hosers". /i. What are your views on mysticism? What are your views on mysticism? Laquo; previous entry. Next entry ». Oct 28th, 2005 12:33 pm. I just finished reading Why God Won't Go Away. Which is a really intersesting book by some neroscientists who basically believed that it's hardwired into our brains to be mystical, and that's why mysticism of various sorts has been found in cultures all over the world. Personally, I think I've always been a pretty mystical person. My family isn't religious, so I struggle w...

Gerd Groenewold, in an essay entitled "Why Tribalism? This pretty much lays out what we expect from a group construct. We seem to have the basic foundations in place. We are Continental Germanic in focus. We are working on delineating our common thews and rites. We are bound together by oath. Question: Am I/we understanding tribalism correctly? Tribalism, ...

Not quite sure why "neo-tribalism" qualifies as a pejorative, but I don't call myself a Tribalist (or a neo-tribalist) and haven't been on the receiving end of the term - I would tend to view it in the same way as the distinction between modern neo-paganism(s) and classical Paganism(s). But that's just me.

The bit about not being able to serve 2 masters? Given that we're polytheists (and pretty staunchly poly - none of this 'aspects' stuff.), I'm not sure that the 'one master' thing really does apply, at least in the general sense (fulltrui type relationships would be another story). We draw the Exclucivity line? I've read some fairly sneering ...
