Friday, November 28, 2014. This is a priceless picture. one of only 2 that exist. It was made in Shenandoah, Iowa, about the year 1905. Mrs. Ella Brinsmead Baker brought a handful of photos into the studio of Isaac Hamilton, and paid him to make a photographic montage that she could then send to her brother William. who was busily pursuing an Army career and raising a large family. A picture is worth a thousand words" is very true in this case. I will retell that story in my next post, using pictures.

Sunday, April 14, 2013. Remembering Lost and Found. On April 12th, 4 years ago, we lost our baby due to an early miscarriage. After a few more years, we pretty much gave up. We felt like the time had passed for having any more kids. Then the miracle- last April learning that Jennifer was pregnant again! Mercy had prayed almost every night for us to have a baby. Motivation is a Treasure. I totally spaced and didn't mention this on Monday, but here is this weeks challenge. On Reasons to Lose. I've been working out a lot las week and this week. I'm helping one of my good friends to win her offices Biggest Loser. My body is not used to working out two days in a row. possibly three. All I'm saying is she better win ;-P. I hope she does. She deserves it. That should get peoples attention. I'm linking to Nain's meme Motivation Monday, even though it isn't Monday.

Life in a Fish Bowl. The way of the world these days. Monday, March 8, 2010. I went for a trip to the grocery store to get some snacks and other items I needed. On my way home I was listening to a program on talk radio, Ohio river hour. I turned left down Tealtown off Old 74 and came to a stop about 100 yards.
