Thursday, August 22, 2013. 1st Day of 1st Grade. He was pretty stinkin' excited. Ella had a LONG day. I tried entertaining her with anything possible! Early in the day it was "Does he have ta go EVERYDAY? Later it was "Can he go again tomorrow? Oops Spoiled her a bit. His report: "1st Grade is hard work! Recess was so short and it was SO hot with only 2 wimpy fans NOT blowing on us kids." He WAS all smiles. Even after getting on the wrong bus home! Later I think he had a migraine. What I am reading.

We'll see about the IKEA thing. The jars are lovely. and the fact that I paid 99 cents per jar makes me smile when I look at them. And this little ice cube tray doesn't hurt either. Starfish shaped soaps. they are gonna be cute. Sunday I made these. Yes I used my finger to scrape this bit of caramel out of the pan and promptly ate it.

Monday, September 17, 2012. Last trip to Bear Lake! What a great weekend we had at Bear Lake. We could not have asked for much better weather. We were able to go out on the sail boat and do a little sailing and fishing. My grandpa Nak was able to come up with us and we had a great time on the lake. Owen was pretty sure he was the co captain and even got to help steer the boat. Football also started and we have all been pretty happy campers around here. Owen loves to cheer for his dads team.
