Sunday, July 26, 2009. Up, Up and Away in that Beautiful Balloon . . . . Did you know those are the lyrics to a song? Goosie (aka Chantel) and I finally got our balloon ride. It was very nice, although the sky was hazy, which is NOT common in New Mexico. Our pilots name is Pat. We met with the chase crew at 5:30 am, and we went looking for calm, and no rain. Saturday, May 23, 2009. Hi, yes this is a video taken with Nani's cell phone. It is soooo cute! Chio and her Carmex. We were at Chantel's graduation. 810 graduates. What a LONG TIME to sit. Sunday, July 17, 2011. Missing you . . . . We played at the park, then went to the zoo. There were. And some giraffes, and other wild animals. Alex was showing me the giraffes, you have to look VERY closely. So, my husband says I can't go 3 months without wanting to go visit my grandkids. Saturday, January 09, 2010. We're off to see Teandra! You need to say the title while singing the melody to the Wizard of Oz. Yes, we followed the yellow brick road to Sherman, TX and then on to Indiana. Along the way, Kiora and I saw many wonderful things. She was VERY disappointed in the Mississppi River. Thought it should be MUCH LARGER. Oh well. Kiki liked Missouri, because they had ROCK mountains, AND trees. Of course, they aren't as big as OUR mountains in New Mexico, but. Wednesday, May 30, 2012. As another summer rolls around, and family is coming to visit. We are planning a camping trip. The last one we went on here has many fond memories. and I decided to revisit one of my MOST favorite. Okay, more than one. So, we went fishin'. Chio kept asking if we needed. Bugs" for the fishing hooks. She loved all the fish that they were catching. Her big brother Alex was GREAT at catching fish. Sometimes, Chio would reel the fish in, but she was MOSTLY interested in giving everyone.

Monday, January 16, 2012. The Beautiful and the Crazy People at the Reception. Notice Uncle Duck Duck teaching Chio how to gracefully do a dip. Uncle Remy wondering why his bow tie looks different. Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Every Bunny Loves Somebunny Sometime . . . I didn't know how to put musical notes, but I sing the title to Everybody loves somebody . So, I was visiting with Kiora and her family, and I had a delightful time. One day, while mom and dad were NOT at home, we decided to play with bunny ears. Chio had been wearing hers for a day, or two, but alex first put some onto ECO! Also, can you do that with YOUR tongue? Then alex and chio tried various bunny ear poses. I love my grandchildren.

Saturday, June 06, 2009. Goosie's Quilt is a work in progress. As each child graduates, I make a quilt for them. Kiora said she didn't want a bedspread, so we made her a garfield quilt, with a satin binding, and hand quilted it (daddy put his name in it). Nani's was bigger, really soft, purple, pretty green and white. It had all the fuzzied coming to the front, and fringes. I think it will look beautiful when it's done. Here are the squares. I'll add more photos as I finish it. Sooooo HANDSOME. :o).
