Apr 17, 2012. Yesterday, I fulfilled a life-long dream of finishing nursing school! For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a nurse and it feels so surreal to finally have my nursing degree! Jun 29, 2012. This past weekend, we painted the baby's room. Huge thanks to my sisters and cousin Jessi for the help. I absolutely love the way it turned out! The colors are so bright and fun. Sep 9, 2012. When we went to the doctor for our 38 week appointment, the doctor scheduled us to be induced just a few days before our due date. The doctor said that since I was already dilated to a 2 and 90% effaced, I was a good candidate for induction. We couldn't have been more excited! Mar 31, 2011. My 1/2 Iron Man. This past weekend David did his first triathlon. He did the half iron man in Las Vegas, that's a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride and a 13.2 mile run. go big or go home, right? We drove to Las Vegas on Friday and before we even got to the hotel we were out driving the bike coarse. This bike coarse is particularly hard due to miles and miles of steep up hill. Feb 21, 2011. This past weekend my whole family went to Disneyland together! Every time we all get together we have a great time and this trip was no different. We were all most excited to take my niece, Kylie, to see all the disney characters. We spent 2 1/2 days between California Adventure and Disneyland. California Screamin' was our favorite ride. It's this fast roller coaster in California Adventure that we rode at least 10 times. Austin, Amanda, Alexis and I waiting to get on California Screamin'.

Oct 27, 2010. I am not a big fan of pumpkin carving. It's messy, sticky, stinky, time consuming and mine always turn out looking lame. However, pumpkin carving is a traditional Halloween activity and it doesn't feel right to not carve. Last year we carved watermelon. It was tasty and not so stinky but mine still turned out really lame! Plus, the shell of a watermelon is a quite thin which makes carving extra tricky. Mine is on the left, go figure! Way better than carving pumpkins! Isn't it impressive :).
