Im just trying things out to see how to upload photos.these pictures are the beautiful feet of the girls at the orphanage. we painted their toenails. for many of them, this was their first time! Friday, August 1, 2008. All summer we did laundry in the bathtub, so i really appreciated having a washer and dryer. then i got a hot shower which is only my second hot shower in 7 weeks! I've had a wonderful week here with my friends- i got to see their ministry, meet believers from all over asia, go swimming, and visit a spanish part of the city called intramuros. this week has been great for me to process more of what i experienced. its also been great to see a different side of manila! Granted that I finish the semester okay :) I am glad to be here. It is so different! I've moved into an apartment with two of my girl friends, right at the edge of campus. My dear sister and matron of honor, Amy, threw me an incredible bridal shower.
