Saturday, August 18, 2007. Remember your first love? Those little stolen moments with each other, the raised heartbeats, sneaking a look through your lashes, the smile that used to hover on your lips when you met, holding hands? Does your heart still bleed for the “may haves”? But, I do not, because in my heart I know the answer. I asked myself, while writing this piece. Was it because I was asking myself, what if we did not drift apart all those years ago? So, was I cheating on my husband emotionally?

Just when I thought my heart was flooded with love and happiness,18 years ago, this day (which happened to be orthodox Good Friday), exactly at 12 noon, I fell in love one more time! I realized how big the human heart is and how immense is it's capacity to love! Giddy with happiness n a sense of fulfillment, I stared at the little bundle of joy, a feeling of dejavu encompassing me, as he stared back at me with one eye, the other tightly shut.
