Three Chicks and a Hen. Tuesday, March 22, 2011. To Ski or Not to Ski. Once at the lodge, like a dog getting its rabies tags, I was licensed with a lift ticket and was told that I was now qualified to ride on a motorized chair that was connected to a 100 ft. zip line. Riding this flying chair was only the beginning.Somehow I had to get off! Praying for mercy, I arrived at the crest. At that moment, a miracle happened. I gathered my poles and lifted my skis and executed a triumphal dismount!
