Tuesday, 17 April 2012. Let Them Eat Cake 2011. Let Them Eat Cake. People often ask me what is the point of twitter and blogs? We had a team of lovely 'vintage' waitresses who ensured all the guests were kept topped up with tea and that the plates were never empty. Helped by a huge water urn supplied by Mann's Wharf. The pies from Bradley's Bakery. I'm a Ginger Monkey. Ruth Quilts, Ruth Singer. The Secret Tea Cup. For all sending gorgeous items for us to sell and raffle. Woodchip Boutique, The Side Room.

Scatter Kindness: April 2012
http://scatterkindness.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 17 April 2012. We asked people to donate craft items such as glue, scissors, Playdoh etc that we could give to the Play Team. My girls also donated their Easter money to add to the supplies too. Like at most other hospitals the Play Team are reliant on charitable donations and were over the moon with our contributions. It is definitely something we will do again in the future. A Christmas Crafternoon The Result. Saved the day and took a few shots for me to share! Liberty Baubles' by Ted and Agnes.

Three Red Apples: March 2011
http://threeredapples.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
So, it starts with a crack in the wall in our bedroom, which has been there the whole time we've been living here. There are a million jobs that need doing, but for some unknown reason, Ade decided he fancied doing a little plastering and fixing that crack. Easy job. Who needs three wires anyway? Do it the French way). He did a grand job, and without too much mess. Lovely jubbly! However, this is the point where these things can turn into another one of those unfinished projects - like our garden fence w...

Easy like a birthday morning. Singing along to Adele, tunes. Spending a little time on me, doing eye make-up, rare. Trying my new tripod, with smiley eyes and head rocking, bliss. A perfect birthday morning thanks to my man. The tripod and Adele albums (not one but two :), his gift to me *smiles*. I also worked out it was my 11680th hot chocolate and toast breakfast. If it ain't chocolate, it ain't breakfast! Wishing you a morning as lovely as mine. A source of much silliness. And a GREAT one at that!

Three Red Apples: January 2012
http://threeredapples.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Oh crap. September since my last visit here. There are better ways to start a blog post, quite sure of that, but since my online chitter-chatter and attention span have come to next to nowt, no deleting and starting again, I'm rolling with it or it'll be another four months.). Yet lots has happened since. Where to start? Maybe a little fast-forward a la speedy gonzales (plus it'll do my shoddy memory some good, albeit a tad boring for you). The last few months have gone a little like this:. Simple templa...

Three Red Apples: Introducing... my sister
http://threeredapples.blogspot.com/2012/02/introducing-my-sister.html
Introducing. my sister. Before Christmas I hopped back over to France to visit one of my sisters. It was a très special visit for I was coming to see the fruit of months of hard work and the start of her new adventure as a furniture designer. I wasn't disappointed, no way josé, I have one very clever sis! So leaving them to it, I went off to find them and this is what I found. (or at least one of them). Beautiful craftsmanship, beautiful lines. and my favourite wood, solid oak. To see over on her website.
