This week's word is 'journey" and I thought I could go all "life's a journey blah blah blah" but that isn't me so just this simple little illo of a conundrum. Love the use of the map! I love this illo , so much fun and the use of the map is fabulous! Great character and terrific idea. Love the map! She has a great expression and I love the bicycle. What a perfect combination of elements.they work so seamlessly together. Well done! Check out my ATCs.

Thursday, July 26, 2012. Illustration Friday : Carry. This week's topic is "carry". What better thing to carry than food? This is an illustrated recipe card for a trade at Illustrated ATCs. An art trading site - lots of fun, check it out. The recipe is on the back :). I love her eyes! The watercolor-y background works really well here, and the matching bow a nice touch! That was truly fascinating. I found the best Shoretel Technical Support. I will share this to my friends. Check out my ATCs.

Wednesday, June 08, 2011. Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you." Maori Proverb. Always liked that quote. I remember it as ". Turn your face toward the sun and smile and all your shadows will fall behind you" which I like better but who am I to mess with Maori? For this week's Illustration Friday; hope you like it. Theres something so appealing about that sun, the background and her expression. Yep Like it a lot. So cute and appealing, very good word :). Youre a Friday Favorite!

School project: we had to designing with basic forms Cd, and Book covers. At first: I had made some different pictograms for that I used only the grid lines, and the pathfinder function. Friday, June 11, 2010. They Draw and Cook. I really, really, really want to do a recipe to submit to this. Just browsing through the stuff already there is inspiring enough but I want to play too. So, this week I will make a recipe to submit. I swear. Here's a recipe I can't submit unless I make it in a different size. Plus they want spreads and all my recipes thus far are two-sided.
