When I was a little girl, I went to a private Christian school. There were no official uniforms, but provocative clothing like tank tops was not allowed. Dancing was not allowed on the property. Our science textbook was titled God’s Great World. Questionable children’s literature was censored with black Sharpie.

June 30, 2005. I have been monitoring the protests against the promised withdrawal of Israeli settlements with interest. As we all know, the previous Israeli plan was to slowly shrink the bits of land that Palestinians held by establishing fortress-towns within the Gaza strip and West Bank. August 31, 2005. Things in Erin's thoughts- a brief summary. So many are feeling pain and loss from hurricane Katrina. I cannot wrap my mind around the pictures that we are seeing.
