On the road to Tully and Mission Beach, just outside of Cardwell, north of Townsville yet south of Cairns, lies this old homestead. I took a picture of it (obviously). One day, I took Lee, from Korea, to Alligator Creek. We did the 18 km hike up there. It was a nice view. But VERY dangerous. We could have plummetted over 100 metres to our deaths! But it had a nice view. Flo was stronger than me.

This past weekend I went camping with the JCU Adventure Club to Alligator Creek at the Bowling Greens National Park. Surprisingly, it is only 25 minutes away by car, just on the other side of Mount Stuart. It is a whole different world on the other side. I brought my tent, and the whole trip only cost me AU$16. So this is the creek, with its lucious water and fake, water-park looking rocks (that are actually real).
