Monday, February 24, 2014. Southern Cross Race Report. As I mentioned in my previous blog update, I spent the off season working on gaining speed for the shorter races I will be participating in this season. My training leading up to the season opener was about as flawless as you can get. I worked with Lynda Wallenfels' 50 Mile Mountain Bike Race - Personal Record Plan. Got to rock the TFKT. Kit one more time as well as the Carve. Toasted Head Racing kits are on the way and looking sweet! Am I just slow?

Monday, April 29, 2013. The conditions were lovely on Friday when we got to the Whitewater Center to pick up our packets and do a little ride. Sun was out. Birds were chirping. Legs felt good. Monday, November 26, 2012. It happened. As of November 7th, I completed the Whole30. Experience. I'm not gonna lie, it was rough going for a while, but at the end I can honestly say that it was a great experience. I didn't just decide to do this and start the following day. For once, I put a lot of planning and preparation into this. I wanted to make sure that if I was going to do it, I was going to do it by the book. I read. It Starts With Food. No carrageenan, MSG or sulfites. Eat three meals a day.

July 16, 2012 · 3:30 pm. After an exam was finished, students were either euphoric and energetic, or (more commonly) zombie-like with harrowed faces. Often, the rest of the day was not spent studying. My housemates and I did some therapeutic cooking on our last exam day — we cooked up a feast and invited friends over to eat. There’s nothing like making a delicious meal and then eating a ton of it in good company. I received my final grades, and have happily passed my classes with satisfactory marks.
