Sunday, 31 August 2014. Travel: Edinburgh and The Fringe Festival. Last weekend, I went to Scotland for bank holiday. Two days in Edinburgh, home to the bustling Fringe Festival and two days in Glasgow. Both so different and both absolutely amazing. First up, the Captial. The Fringe Festival played its last 2014 show last Monday but the beautiful Scottish capital has so much to see, and when the sun completely disappears, Edinburgh's sights, restaurants and galleries are perfect for a winter weekend away.

July 16, 2012 · 3:30 pm. After an exam was finished, students were either euphoric and energetic, or (more commonly) zombie-like with harrowed faces. Often, the rest of the day was not spent studying. My housemates and I did some therapeutic cooking on our last exam day — we cooked up a feast and invited friends over to eat. There’s nothing like making a delicious meal and then eating a ton of it in good company. I received my final grades, and have happily passed my classes with satisfactory marks.
