Riding with Rickey: Your Tuesday Turkey-Tinted Triviality (and other feats of tenuous alliteration)
http://ridingwithricky.blogspot.com/2010/03/your-tuesday-turkey-tinted-triviality.html
Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Your Tuesday Turkey-Tinted Triviality (and other feats of tenuous alliteration). Park officials, being either big fans of F. Scott Fitzgerald's work or classic video games, decided to name the turkey Zelda. And we must admit, she seems pretty city-savvy, staying within the park confines and not recklessly venturing out into the busy street. Rickey would even go so far as to classify her as a jive turkey. Zelda Rubenstein lives on in that turkey. RUN TOWARDS THE LIGHT, TURKEY!

Riding with Rickey: Adventures in Homeownership: In Which a Harmless Piece of Wall Art Goes Horrifically Awry
http://ridingwithricky.blogspot.com/2010/04/adventures-in-homeownership-in-which.html
Sunday, April 11, 2010. Adventures in Homeownership: In Which a Harmless Piece of Wall Art Goes Horrifically Awry. And under normal circumstances, the story would have ended right here. But not today. Take a good look at the above picture. But look carefully at the image. No, closer. Closer. How did this chain of events come to pass? You know what Rickey blames this on the breakdown of? And so every one of these safety nets failed Rickey, and now here he is, stuck with an enormous picture of a dude's don...

Riding with Rickey: Rickey's Vacation Coda
http://ridingwithricky.blogspot.com/2012/06/rickeys-vacation-coda.html
Tuesday, June 12, 2012. So true to recent form, Rickey completely neglected to keep his readers appraised of his Floridian Odyssey. Perhaps it was because Rickey was busy banging his head on the wall due to being COMPLETELY UNABLE TO WITNESS the first no hitter in Mets history while away on vacation. Oh bother. Before we switch back into "zany angry blogger! Mode, one last thought on Rickey's 57 hour train ordeal (the final tally was 31 hrs down 26 hours back). You should update you blog! Blogging is the...

Riding with Rickey: Hyperbole Ahoy! Rickey Reviews "Inception"
http://ridingwithricky.blogspot.com/2010/07/hyperbole-ahoy-rickey-reviews-inception.html
Monday, July 19, 2010. The basic overarching plot is deceptively simple: it's a heist movie. Leonardo DiCaprio and a gang of thieves dive into the mind of a powerful industrialist in order to dissolve his energy company and thereby better the welfare of his competitors and humanity as a whole (hey, why can't we do this with BP. Three nested levels of dreaming, unfold simultaneously at different paces, with characters running around about on each level. Each level's. Again, we can't help but assume that N...

Willie's World: July 2006
http://willietime.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 30, 2006. A lot of people have been following the rumor mill about trades, me especially. The trade of Carlos Lee to the Rangers was huge, because he was on my main rival's fantasy team, and since it's an NL-only league, he's screwed and has to drop Lee! ME: No way will I allow you to trade Lastings Milledge under any scenario! The only person I would trade Lastings Milledge for is Lastings Milledge, and even then I'd want another player thrown in. OMAR: What are you talking about? As you ca...

Willie's World: March 2007
http://willietime.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 25, 2007. The Season Is Almost Upon Us. We had a bad thing happen today, with Lastings Milledge getting hit on the wrist by a pitch. He's been taken to the hospital for x-rays, and hopefully he will be just fine. Just in case, I've had Mike Pelfrey added to the roster and ready to back up Shawn Green in RF. Anyway, I think it's time to head to the hotel bar to relax a little. Later Met fans! Posted by Willie Randolph @ 6:20 PM. Links to this post. Get 'Em Fresh Toasted. Yes Joe, It's Toasted.

Willie's World: September 2006
http://willietime.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 27, 2006. Six in the Mix. What’s up Mets fans, Willie here. I would just like to start by reminding all of you that these games don’t count anymore. We gave up the same number of runs in the last two days as honeys I’ve had since Saturday, so I’m not sure what to make of THAT correlation. I do believe a lot in numbers, and the fact that we gave up 12 runs on Tuesday and we lost by 12 today screams that we just might be screwed. 12 of course is 2 times 6. Would come back to bite us!

http://metsmartyr.blogspot.com/2008/02/poll-results-fire-willie-if-no-playoffs.html
Sunday, February 24, 2008. Poll Results: Fire Willie if no Playoffs. According to my poll results, if the Mets should fail to make the playoffs in 08' should Willie be fired, 8 people said yes, 3 people said no. These results are not scientific. Jason Phillips Gatorade: Who will get the fifth spot?
http://metsmartyr.blogspot.com/2008/02/who-will-get-fifth-spot.html
Sunday, February 17, 2008. Who will get the fifth spot? Orlando "El Duque" Hernandez. He is a proven veteran, can still get it done, has post season experience, has many different variations with his pitches and angles. Injuries, injuries, injuries, oh and injuries. Although he has been pretty good for 2 years he has gotten injured in the most crucial spots, I.E. post season 06, September 07. If he can stay healthy the spot is just about his. Just stay healthy Duque. Chances for El Duque - 75 %.
