Island Time in Abaco. Good Times in Abaco and Lubbers Quarters. Sunday, February 14, 2010. Hope Town on Elbow Cay, Abaco, in the out-islands of the northern Bahamas. Hope Town is a small, charming settlement located on Elbow Cay in the Abacos. The one room post office is housed upstairs in an old blue two story building at the end of the south public dock. There are no typical boxes for rent here - everything arrives in care of general delivery. St James Methodist Church. Offering dock side convenience.

We spent Friday late morning and afternoon at the pool in Orchid Bay which overlooked the sea of Abaco and had lunch at the restaurant at Orchid Bay. Berkley our waiter told us that there were a number of people that built houses in the residential part of Orchid Bay that are from NJ. May 12, 2010 at 2:37 PM. Looking forward to playing ring toss. I feel confident writing that this is really been a special time for both of us (in a good way). We are enjoying the space, the boat, the different places we’ve seen and gotten to know, and the time with each other. No TV, no running all over with errands, just time together checking out new things every day. It’s really been great. March 8, 2012.
