The summer of snow peas | Music and Cats
http://musicandcats.com/2010/08/the-summer-of-snow-peas
The summer of snow peas. August 28, 2010. I told Paul that June was too late to plant snow peas. Not that we could have planted them sooner; we had put together the two new raised beds in our front yard. In May, and finally had them filled with topsoil and compost in early June.). And while my tomatoes and tomatillos shivered in their bed, those peas germinated, and the tiny plants pushed their first leaves up. 8212; tiny peas appeared from within the wilting flowers. At first, we picked the peas one or ...

Dulce de Leche Recipe - David Lebovitz
http://www.davidlebovitz.com/archives/2005/11/dulce_de_lechec.html
Laquo; The Biggest Bottle of Red Wine in Paris? Chocolate Mole Recipe ». Dulce de Leche Recipe. The first time I had dulce de leche. I began spooning it directly from the jar and into my mouth. And before I knew it, I had made it almost all the way through the jar. It was that good! I scraped it off the spoon with my teeth, savoring every sticky, sugary mouthful. The jar of dulce de leche I was given had a picture of a goat on the label and was actually called cajeta. On the market…although nowaday...

Mikey HATES Everything!: A Load of Vegetables
http://mikeyhateseverything.blogspot.com/2009/07/load-of-vegetables.html
Sunday, July 05, 2009. A Load of Vegetables. Here's a way to support local farmers and get a box full of vegetables for only $15. Just go to this site. To pay, then select a location close to you to pick up your box. Depending on what's coming out from the ground there's different items each week. My box included:. Long Neck Yellow Squash. My personal challenge for this week is to cook each vegetable however it tastes best. Though if I get lazy I'll probably just make vegetable soup. =P. Super Udon (Sout...

Mikey HATES Everything!: 26 Beach Cafe @ Venice
http://mikeyhateseverything.blogspot.com/2007/01/26-beach-cafe-venice.html
Sunday, January 07, 2007. 26 Beach Cafe @ Venice. Okay, yeah, so this might not seem like the best follow-up to a public vow toward healthier eating. But I at least deserve Brownie points for choosing salmon over beef, right? The night before I had In 'N Out (Okay, yes, I'm eating junk) so I wasn't ready for another burger. But don't you hate it when you're at odds with yourself between the turkey burger and that extra saucy afterall-you-only-live-once. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Mitsuwa Market ...

Ingredients for two hearty bowlfuls:. 1 large red pepper. 2 cloves garlic (whole, skin on). 1 smallish butternut squash. 1 tsp ground cumin. 1/2 tsp chilli powder. A couple of glugs of olive oil. Take ...

January | 2012 | The Runcible Spoon
https://therunciblespoon.com/2012/01
Monthly Archives: January 2012. January 30, 2012. Deer pie, dear. This has been the longest January ever, has it not? It took me a good two weeks to drag myself out of my sleepy post-festive state. No-one told me that hosting a twelve-person Christmas would be quite so exhausting, although I loved every minute of it and am secretly considering offering to repeat the feat next year. It’s also meant that we can spend our money on the good stuff, like this wild Wicklow venison from Hick and Sons. Edd Kimber...

Previous post: hoisin barbecue sauce. Next post: an elaborate ruse. September 6, 2007. July 29, 2016. Jump to recipe,. I know people are prone to wild disagreements over Food Network personality Paula Deen. Sure, some gush. That she is a “ hot-damn. Pistol” and exactly like their “favorite aunt, who doesn’t care what anyone thinks of her” even at the expense of their readership and others think she’s just hated on because she’s a successful woman. I finally found my excuse to tackle this cake for the bir...

http://thejuliejuliagiselaproject.blogspot.com/2014/09/hello-fall.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2014. It feels so good not to sweat all the time. Although, I'm not sure I'm ready for winter and I hope 4 sweatshirts and a Jacket are enough. I am still happy fall is here, last year I enjoyed Fall in Korea by traveling on an awesome weather (except for those windy days in Jeju-do). By the way, anyone knows why Ice cream is always on SALE in Seoul? We are planning on a little gathering on saturday at our rooftop and apparently thursday is Girls night out!
