Somewhere in the East Brooklyn-terranean. Everyone's got bags under their eyes. And lead in their feet. Fighting for a seat. We are weary,. We have worked,. Everyone's got bags under their eyes. And exhaustion weighs heavy on shoulders. Heads hang and shake in rhythm. We are weary,. We are tired,. Who but ourselves know? Who but our colleauges know? My generation was promised the world. Somewhere in the East Brooklyn-terranean. Who ever said grad school classes were useless? If I hadn't been in class, I would never have had the time to write this:. Always an angry awesome action. Brings back brightly burning barns. Caving, crashing cumbersome convection. Devils delightfully dance, dangerously. Fearsome fairies fan fires,. Giving God gruesome, ghastly. Horrific happenings here; however,. Instead, in infinite, infallible instinct,. Justice judges jealous juveniles. Knives kill, knowing.

http://vanessainbloggerville.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html

Bloggerville is a place for random thoughts. Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Our first day in Arizona! We arrived in Phoenix on Sunday night 9/15. It was 10pm there but our bodies told us it was after 1am. Oliver was blowing raspberries in his stroller with his neck slack from exhaustion. Mark was searching for his guitar that had not made it from JFK to Boston to Phoenix. JetBlue Attendant: So are there any identifying characteristics that can help us find your luggage? Mark: Umm.it's guitar-shaped. Tia an...

http://vanessainbloggerville.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html

Bloggerville is a place for random thoughts. Friday, October 18, 2013. Our first month in Arizona. So I am used to having a ton of people around me. And I liked it that way. I was very social at my job, always making plans with friends on nights and weekends, and seeing family even more often. We got to Sahuarita and there was NONE of that. Mark's brother and his wife and daughter live across the street. So that was literally our only connection here. I was very active in singing groups in high school an...

And I'm extremely glad that we took her advice. I feel, a little, like an entitled park slope parent. Bloggerville is a place for random thoughts. Monday, October 11, 2010. Amanda and Luke Got Married. My best friend from 7th grade married her Skidmore lover on September 18th of this year. It was the most perfect wedding. The weather was superb. The food was delectable. The ceremony was unique. The decorations were classy. The reception was a blast. The night was crazy awesome. The ceremony honored the love of other married couples. The music inspired a dance party that did not rest. And in case you're w...

Bloggerville is a place for random thoughts. Saturday, November 27, 2010. So, Mark and I have been engaged for almost 7 months now. It feels like we should hurry up and be married already but. I. And I have been to resorts and I am being honest when I say that they feel like you are ingesting the worst part of the mass-produced, get sloppy or die tryin' mentality of American budget vacationing. And I do not what to be within a 5 mile radius of ANY undergrads or Jersey Shore wannabes grinding to house...

Bloggerville is a place for random thoughts. Sunday, November 18, 2012. I'm 65 months pregnant. It has been over a year since I've posted on my blog. I've never really considered myself a writer, but I was religious about keeping journals when I was younger. So after I got through the wedding, and our first anniversary came and went, and I got pregnant (! I figured it was time to talk about my feelings in life again. In no particular order I found out the following things were off limits:. After the firs...

Welcome to Bloggerville: March 2013

http://vanessainbloggerville.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html

Bloggerville is a place for random thoughts. Thursday, March 7, 2013. Sunrise on the day I went into labor. In Labor at Sephora. Georgia examined me and I was 8cm dilated, which was good news! When his head started to emerge Georgia told me to reach down and feel it and that was incredible. I really didn't know what was going on down there throughout the pushing, so feeling the head really gave me the extra energy I needed to push him the rest of the way out. Links to this post. Tom Joad, for those who seek peace and justice

For Those That Seek Peace and Justice. The Grapes of Wrath,. This site has long honored some of those mostly young heroes that have refused orders their government to kill and die in wars of aggression. You can see that here. Our problem is civil obedience. Our problem is the numbers of people all over the world who have obeyed the dictates of the leaders of their government and have gone to war, and millions have been killed because of this obedience. - Howard Zinn. April 2014 marks the 75th.
