The Land of Take-What-You-Want. Another blog from the peoplr that brought you 'The Land of Do-As-You-Please'. October 24, 2009. It is the story of a group of coal-miners who decide to rob a bank. One of their friends is killed in an accident and rather than pay compensation; the cruel pit owner uses the tribunal to besmirch this man’s good name. His friends decide that enough is enough and take the drastic step of robbing a bank in order to teach the pit boss a lesson. The group is called Tower Players.

My Christmas Cooking Feat began today with tiny ‘splody’ mince pies. Surprisingly enough they are a success. Most of them are destined for family members’ tables but I had to use up all of the pastry (! So we have plenty left to keep.
