Friday, 28 November 2014. Cooking in Pudding Lane. This week we have been busy with our project work on The Great Fire of London. We read and followed a recipe, weighing ingredients accurately to make our own fruit buns like Thomas Farriner would have made in Pudding Lane in 1666. We followed our cookery rules to be hygienic and took turns to weigh, rub, pour, stir, crack the eggs and roll our dough. Welcome to Nursery - Croeso i Ddosbarth Meithrin. Thursday, 16 July 2015. On Monday we celebrated the wonderful diverse cultures that can be found around the world and within our school! Welsh footballers and rugby players. Sportsmen from around the world. School children from Wales. And children from Ethiopia, France, Mexico and America! We had a lovely whole class party. The children enjoyed crisps, cakes and a drink! Eat up boys and girls! We finished the afternoon by having a game of musical statues!

Tuesday, 10 February 2015. It's all in a cell. We have been learning about bacteria cells and we recreated our own in 3D and 2D. We have learnt about the nucleus , cell membranes, ribosomes, vacuoles and the cytoplasm. Well done to all the cells produced. A fantastic effort and extraordinary creativity went into them all! The School Council visited the National assembly of Wales at Cardiff Bay and had the opportunity to debate relevant topics.
