Nestled within the foothills of the Big Horn Mountains, Washakie County is centrally located in the northern portion of Wyoming. Washakie County consists of two established towns: Ten Sleep and Worland. Travelers from the east. Visitors entering the Big Horn Basin. From the south will travel U.S. Highway 20 from Shoshoni past Boysen Reservoir, through beautiful Wind River Canyon and Thermopolis home of Hot Springs State Park and the World's Largest Mineral Hot Springs and into Worland.
