Kate's Travels: March 2010
http://travelingwithkatethegreat.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. Spring Break Part I. Live, Laugh, Love. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Spring Break Part I. Well, it is soooo nice to have six days of Spring Break. How am I going to spend it? Well, this morning I went to the Salt Lake Temple with my good friend Stephanie. What better thing could you over Spring Break? I think it's ironic that it's snowing today, and probably tomorrow. But, Spring is definitely around the corner!

Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. Live, Laugh, Love. Monday, January 11, 2010. It was an amazing experience! We usually end our meeting at noon, but Pres. Monson spoke for over an hour! I left after 1:00! He is so wonderful. He is so funny! He has the neatest stories and experiences to share. I am truly thankful for a living prophet, and that I got to see and hear him speak (and five rows from the front! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. Live, Laugh, Love. Tuesday, January 11, 2011. I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you can appreciate them when they're right.and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.". Our circumstances do not determine where we will end up, only where we start from.". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A LIL' TEASPOON OF ME.

Chronicles of Nana: April 2010

Saturday, April 24, 2010. A lecturer explained stress management to an audience. He held up a glass of water and asked, "How heavy is this glass? Here are some thoughts to keep in mind as you go through life:. Always keep your words soft and sweet- in case you have to eat them. Drive carefully. It is not only cars that can be "recalled" by their Maker. If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague. If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity! I am now re-reading Walden Pond by Thoreau. Here are a few of the thoughts from the first two chapters. Enjoy! To be a philosopher is not merely to have subtle thoughts, nor even to found a school, but so to love wisdom as to live according to its dictates a life of simplicity, independendence, magnanimity, and trust. All men want, not something to 'do with', but something to 'do', or rather something to 'be.'. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

I hope that for you this (scripture study) will become something far more enjoyable than a duty; that, rather, it will become a love affair with the word of God" Gordon B. Hinckley Ensign, May 1995, p. 99. Friday, April 30, 2010. This one seemed so easy to me at first. Brooke have you been melting down any metal into shapes of things and bowing down and worshiping them? Nope, I can check that one off my not a problem to do commandment list. The nomadic life of an almost normal family. Thursday, February 23, 2012. I'm working at a job that I have so much fun at. The kids have grown by leaps and bounds. They are all in school now. I'm a mother to a teenager! She drives me batty and amazes me. We are settled now, and most days I'm happy with that. I still miss the traveling but not as much as I used to.
