Growing Up Guacamole: August 2006
http://growingupguacamole.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 29, 2006. The Greatest Show on Earth. We went to the circus on saturday. It was fun, I wasn't sure how much the kids got out of it though. They seemed like they liked it, but they weren't on the edge of their seats or anything. I was a bit disappointed with some of the other parts, the trapezee artist wasn't all that. There were some great acrobatics, but no real trapezee stuff that you expect out of the circus. So there you go, what was supposed to be a fun, family outing has me debating...

Misadventures in Mommyhood: November 2010
http://deanneandcolin.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Peg Bundy or June Cleaver? You decide.but my many misadventures speak for themselves. Tuesday, November 09, 2010. Colin got to have the "best lunch ever" today. He earned a limo ride to lunch at McDonald's for selling 25 or more items for their school fundraiser. He was just a teeny bit excited, LOL. It's all he's talked about since he brought home the permission slip last week. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Brian and Krista.com. Nice Mommy Evil Editor.

All Hail Queen Mommy. Http:/ img.photobucket.com/albums/v502/Sara9775/seal2.gif. Thursday, February 15, 2007. Visit to the falls. Nothing spectacular like Niagra Falls, but this is our own mini version. It was a nice day, so we took a walk around Tumwater falls and enjoyed the mild weather. Monday, February 12, 2007. Sunday, February 11, 2007. Tuesday, February 06, 2007. Here is an example of what simple things can make my girls happy. Thursday, February 01, 2007. The sun really does exist in Washington.

All Hail Queen Mommy. Http:/ img.photobucket.com/albums/v502/Sara9775/seal2.gif. Sunday, February 11, 2007. Next, as we cruised past Olympia (which is where they were SURE we were going), we dropped the 2nd bomb: we were going to Seattle. That got them all excited since to them Seattle means fun. That looks like sooo much fun! That sounds like a complete blast! I'm so jealous you got to go! I can't wait until Avery is old enough to sit through the ballet. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Growing Up Guacamole: September 2006
http://growingupguacamole.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 28, 2006. Happy Birthday, my little man. I can't believe it was two years ago today that daddy and I held you for the first time. You're "my love, my love, my true love," and always will be. May the coming years be filled with those smiles of yours that I just can't resist. XXXOOOXXX. Posted by catankgirl at 1:03 AM. Tuesday, September 26, 2006. Say good-bye to the old. We finally have a new garage door. Yeah! It's an amazing technological achievement, I tell ya. Monday, September 18,...

Growing Up Guacamole: June 2006
http://growingupguacamole.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 26, 2006. Celebrating the small victories. For the past year I've felt guilty that I haven't gotten to do nearly as much "big girl" activies with Olivia as I've liked to. Puzzles, coloring, painting, paper dolls, that kind of stuff. But now school is out for the summer and the guilt is back. Whenever we try to do anything with any amount of coordination someone ends up crying, either Olivia because Noah has tore it up, or Noah because I keep pulling him away from it, or me just in general.

Growing Up Guacamole: February 2006
http://growingupguacamole.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 28, 2006. A time before Olivia. I don't think Olivia realizes yet that the world existed before her presense. Last night at dinner we were talking about eating things, and don't ask me why, she asked "Have you ever eaten a snail? Without thinking much I said, "No, I don't think I've ever eaten a snail." Then Travis reminded me, "we ate snails on our honeymoon." (Escargo in Tahiti, wow, how life has changed.). Of course, Olivia asked, "what is a honeymoon? Posted by catankgirl at 11:24 AM.

Growing Up Guacamole: July 2006
http://growingupguacamole.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 28, 2006. Dr Jiggle and Mr. Slide. There is something about this particular Veggie Tales that gets my kids moving. Sorry it is so long, but I thought it was hilarious the way Noah practically ordered daddy to make the music start again. And how they instantaneously started dancing once the music did start. Other cute Noah-isms to look for are "Mo Peeeees" (More Please,) "Mon" (Come on,) and "Ta-da! Posted by catankgirl at 11:07 PM. Thursday, July 27, 2006. You gotta love a man. And here is e...

Growing Up Guacamole: December 2006
http://growingupguacamole.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 27, 2006. Bring it on, Santa. Since our fireplace is not in working order right now, we have our entertainment center in front of it. This created the problem of where to hang the stockings. Daddy and the kids found a great solution, make your own fireplace out of construction paper. Don't worry, it was well before Christmas! Posted by catankgirl at 4:58 PM. Isn't this a great structure Olivia and Noah built together? Posted by catankgirl at 4:55 PM. Posted by catankgirl at 4:50 PM.
