The biggest challenge with kids that have been abandoned is that they believe they are unwanted and unloved. Unfortunately, sometimes this is true. Adventures in El Salvador! Monday, February 16, 2015. Well, I am still enamored with the view from my apartment. It's my favorite place to enjoy my chai :). This month there's been a bit of a switch in the focus of my work. I've started to work more with the staff and people caring for the kids than directly with the kids. She called and told her of a good place and said it will go fast, can we visit today? It worked out and we arrived before the realtor and were able to look around outside of the apartment building. Adventures in El Salvador! Monday, July 20, 2015. Back to old habits I guess - catching up on 2 and a half months since my last entry! I'll work backwards :). I think it went well. They all seemed pleased. The training is split into 2 parts - the first is looking at family systems and how patterns of behaviors happen and looking at how to break patterns. Travels with the T's. Sunday, August 23, 2009. I loved being held by the lion. I wonder if he was any of the fables you wrote last year. I was scared of the cannon. Luckily it was not loaded. Honest, I didn't get in trouble! I was just joking, honest, really! It was sad to leave Koln and my friends. While in Köln I saw lots of farming land. I saw corn and other vegetables. I wonder if any of the corn will be made into popcorn for Mrs. T. It was hard work climbing to the top. But the view was beautiful.

Sunday, 28 February 2010. Came in to hospital on Wednesday as planned, was started on Amoxicillin and Gentamycin. After being in for a week I got my needle out and was sent to the Western for my MRI scan. So now I'm back on my IV's, still in hospital and just playing a waiting game til they decide what to do with me :(. Will update when I have more info. Saturday, 13 February 2010.
