On culture, travel and the world of words. The joy of influencing narrative. September 12, 2010 in Words. Choose you own adventure games. Browsing Spotify last weekend I came across something exciting: a free audio book called. Don’t Let Go. Kate Simon's Travel-Writing Courses. From Victoria, a travel journalist brushing up her selling skills. 8220;What made your course different from others I’ve attended is that the tips were very practical e.g. when to pitch, how many words a pitch should be, what makes editors take notice and read your email. I think these parts of the course were incredibly useful, relevant and up-to-date mainly because you currently work in the industry.”. From Olivia, a seasoned freelance writer. Upgrade to paid account! Jul 8th, 2008 at 10:27 PM. This week has been pretty disappointing in terms of weather, today it was rainy and pretty cold. However, last week it was really hot out, so Brittny and I went to visit the public pool. It was a really nice pool but it was also super crowded. Since I brought my camera along, I snapped a few pics before we left. More of the pool. Well I've reached the two week point before coming home! Jul 4th, 2008 at 4:26 AM. We were all shocked to witness a proposal!
