MUSIC - Tree Inn. We have live music every Friday night in the Bevil Bar. Our house band plays traditional folk every other Friday and we have blues from the Tree Dogs interspersed with Bluegrass from the Smoky Mountain Boys in the weeks between. We also have visits from our local lifeboat singers and have a great Cornish music session to celebrate St Piran’s day on the 5th March. Occasionally Bob will reach for the Highland or Lowland pipes if he’s not feeling too shy! 12 noon to Midnight.

FOOD - Tree Inn. Take away Fish and Chips. The Tree Inn now does our very own take away fish and chip service every night of the week. Fresh fish in our own recipe beer batter with hand cut chips only 6. Food is served from Noon to 2pm and 6pm to 9pm. As you would expect, fresh local ingredients play an important role in our menus and the constantly changing daily specials board reflects this. Our modern British pub food is available throughout the inn and in the Courtyard on warmer days.

The history of the Tree Inn is inevitably bound up with the history of Stratton itself as told in the well researched book “Stratton Past and Present” by Bill Young and Bryan Dudley Stamp. Sir Bevil Grenville’s grandfather, Sir Richard, Captain of ‘Revenge’, purchased the Manor of Stratton in 1576. This included the Manor House now known as the Tree Inn.
