Details On the Phillip Island Trek. A 5hr boating/trekking adventure starting with a boat trip to Nepean and Phillip islands followed by an informative Trek on spectacular Phillip Island. The Treks are run in response to demand and weather conditions, predominantly Thursdays. We do not require a minimum number of customers. Maximum number on Trek, 8 people usual size 4 to 6 people. Suitable for people of average fitness not suitable for people with heart complaints,. Clothing which allows free movement.

During the period of the penal settlement on Norfolk Island, pigs, goats and rabbits were released on Phillip Island to provide a sauce of meat and sport for the Officers. As can be imagined the ecology of the island was devastated. Although a tragedy for the island the consequence is a uniquely beautiful and spectacular landscape. Since then there has been significant natural re-vegetation helped long by weed control and tree planting by Environment Australia (as it is now known).
