It was of course a beauty to see little kids playing but when you realized that more than stepping on your shoes, the little voices became snickers, transforming to loud cries and all, relaxation became just a state of mind, something that yoga and patience cannot resolve. SM City North EDSA is such an exciting mall to wander around in, particularly during weekends when half of the general population of northern Quezon City is tightly packed in its box-like structures. So imagine the rush I felt accompanying my (very) pregnant wife, looking for a relatively empty and cozy resto during one Saturday payday lunch. It was quite hopeless really, but then, like a scene from one of those crappy Disney teen sitcoms.

People also didn’t have any hang-ups with gadgets, mainly because there weren’t exactly many to begin with. so while some may have the latest casio sports watch that has a stopwatch function, many actually just rely on ordinary watches to give an approximate time of their workouts. and don’t even bother with distances unless you’re running in a track oval when you can measure your run fairly accurately. Now let’s do a little bit of math.
