So I was sitting downstairs in the basement having a couple of cups of coffee and catching up on TV shows that I TiVo throughout the week as I tend to do each morning, and Nathan asked me if I was going to go swimming with him this year. Friday, July 07, 2006. So the last couple of blogs have shocked people when they get a glimpse at Nathan's new hairstyle. Oh man.and what a high-maintenance hairdo this is. I had no idea. I have to get his hair washed out good in the morning to get the old gunk out, then add lots of new gunk to his hair while its still wet. I then have to blow it dry to freeze it. Sunday, July 30, 2006. Weekend Fishing at Chatfield. A friend and I hit Chatfield this morning with hopes of getting some walleye and smallies. I had never fished for walleye before, so this was sure to be a learning experience. We hit the water at around 6:30, and went directly to the no-wake zone barrier on the south end, and get up for some flatline trolling along the east bank. We trolled back in around 15-20 feet of water with crankbaits can came up with nothing. Obviously not in the net. Crap!

Thursday, August 10, 2006. GOOD NEWS, IT HAS ARRIVED! Just today in the mail it came, one day short of four weeks. The box stating "Your advance processing application has been forwarded to the National Visa Center. Favorable determination has been E mailed to: Guangzhou, China." has been checked on the form! Now it has to go through the authentication process, being sent all the way to the Chinese Consulate in Chicago! We are very excited to have received this today! Links to this post.
