Monday, June 30, 2014. Grady loves "going swimming" but he isn't SWIMMING yet! Want to take swimming lessons for whatever reason, and so we don't want to force him to do it and make it worse. AGH! We are trying to teach him slowly but surely on our own. I feel like a failure each time we go swimming. He makes a little progress, but then freaks out when water gets in his eyes. AGH! Thursday, July 24, 2014. Children's Museum of Memphis. While Josh worked on Monday, the kids and I went to the Children's Museum of Memphis. We went in January and they LOVED it! Saturday, November 30, 2013. Thanksgiving at the Farm. We went up to the farm to visit with all of the Fulton clan the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The weather was so great and Grady and Vera enjoyed playing outside all afternoon with their cousins. Once they got on the four wheelers, they didn't want to get off! Thursday, October 31, 2013. Sue's Annual Halloween Party. Susan's Halloween party has become an annual event! Worked out GREAT this year since we had trick-or-treating the night before. Grady was all smiles as he was bombarded with treats as he first entered the house! Thank goodness Pete left the Cousin Eddie costume at home this year! He decided to go the Blues Brothers route. Mom and Beverly brought back their cat costumes again. Will started off the night as a biker dude. SO cute! And we did, too!

Thursday, April 24, 2014. Vera is all about kitchens and cooking and helping and PIZZA! Slow down, time! She is not supposed to be so big yet! Tuesday, April 22, 2014. What beautiful weather we have been having in Mississippi finally! Easter was a little later than normal this year and we were SO glad for the warm weather and sunny days that we could spend outside! On Good Friday, we were "EGGED" by some of our sweet friends! Looking for the special egg. At home, we dyed a few Easter eggs! And yummy, too!

Thursday, December 4, 2014. Winner's Circle Park Grand Lighting. The weather in December has started off unseasonably warm! We have been enjoying short sleeves! We always go to the park to see the lights at Christmastime, but usually in the past, we've had something to do on the night of the Grand Lighting, or either it's been too cold or rainy! This year, the weather was perfect, so we decided to try it out! Has done MUCH better with Santa this year! Pete, DeeDee, and the three wild ones. I Like to Read.

Sunday, December 29, 2013. Christmas morning at the Hammer house brought lots of squeals and excitement! Watching Grady and Vera see what Santa brought with utter elation brings back so many memories of Christmas mornings with my sisters when I was little!
