http://lisablandford.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 20, 2014. I know I've been gone awhile but the last time I posted I had said I was working on some children's stories. Well, I am on the brink of getting them published but I needed a little help. My son's story the last 2 years has been challenging to say the least, but he is such a blessing and good things are coming! The deadline date to pledge is May 26, 2014. So check it out today! Saturday, November 10, 2012. Everything happens for a reason. I've been absent for some time. Since I last posted I found out I was pregnant, moved, had a baby and well, there actually is no way I can explain all that has happened here. If you would like to read the whole story, check out this blog. Thanks for always being so supportive and encouraging. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Out of the box Resolutions | LAURA PAULING
https://laurapauling.wordpress.com/2010/01/11/out-of-the-box-resolutions
Exercising the write to ramble. Out of the box Resolutions. I really don’t care too much for resolutions. But one of my critique groups meets to chat online once a week. They wanted to talk about our resolutions. It was that time of year (a couple weeks ago). My writing goals have always been the same. Improve. Improve. Improve. With the ultimate goal of finding an agent and getting published. The improving part was within my control. The agent part – not so much. Or have you already accomplished goals t...

Emotion in writing (and reading) | LAURA PAULING
https://laurapauling.wordpress.com/2010/01/14/emotion-in-writing-and-reading
Exercising the write to ramble. Emotion in writing (and reading). My kids all know I’m a sap. I read them picture books when they were younger. And there were certain ones, I just couldn’t get through without my voice cracking and tears forming. And it was because of the emotion behind the moment in the story. And all the build up leading up to that point. (The worst were books about how much a parent loves their child. I seriously can’t get through those.). Or, when reading an adult, middle grade or YA,...

It is. However, after having some time to think about the question, I realize that it is more than just a satisfying way to pass the time. I still ...

A Writer's Thoughts: July 2013
http://lisablandford.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 26, 2013. Just wanted to share. I recently found this article and I wanted to share it. Check it out. I've completely changed projects and gone from writing women's fiction to writing children's picture books. My children inspired some funny, creative scenerios just by being themselves and I can't wait to share them with you! I am at a crossroads of do I pursue self-publishing or attempt traditional publishing? Links to this post. Friday, July 5, 2013. Links to this post. Run The Edge Blog.
