being and nothingness: May 2009
http://beingnothingness.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 28, 2009. I've decided to keep a separate wedding photography blog so that any potential clients don't have to wade through lots of other stuff. Go and take a look. Http:/ ithadtobeyouweddingphotography.blogspot.com/. This now means I have 4 websites and 2 blogs to maintain - perhaps I need to simplify my life; ). Fora anyone interested in the educational consultancy work and wants to see the CV then I'm at www.loumcgill.co.uk. Thursday, May 28, 2009. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

being and nothingness: new beginnings
http://beingnothingness.blogspot.com/2008/02/new-beginnings.html
Friday, February 15, 2008. It feels like we are coming out of hibernation. So much has happened that I don't have time to do write it all down, but I think we're coming back to the blogging and soon to the home education. I am going to try to make some money with a bit of elearning consultancy and my photography. I've been working on a new website and not had any time for flickr or the blogging. Maybe I can start to catch up again with my non work life! The new photography website. We too are downsizing,...

being and nothingness: June 2009
http://beingnothingness.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 27, 2009. Twice a year we usually have to deal with our son getting very upset and having a week or so of sadness, crying and inability to sleep. This is because on his birthday and at christmas his dad sends him a parcel and a letter. He would check his email every day to see if his dad had responded. Not a sausage. Then yesterday - out of the blue - L got a postcard from Poland from his dad. He doesn't mean that though - he really wants to see his dad. It is such a shame. I think it'...

being and nothingness: September 2010
http://beingnothingness.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 09, 2010. Most people are horrified when I tell them that my son does most of his socialising with his peers over the internet. They are worried because he doesn't go to school and 'get' socialised there (we do home learning - see early blog post to find out why. For children on the autistic spectrum - being forced into a school environment is at best a daily challenge:. To understand the teacher enough to learn. To cope with the unwritten rules that children live by. I have no doubt ...

being and nothingness: October 2010
http://beingnothingness.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 17, 2010. And so does my new blog. I've just amalgamated one of my websites (the one I use for my consultancy work) and this blog. I have a major soft spot for this blog as it has taken me through a significant phase of my (and my family's) life. I've been blogging since 2006 when I also discovered flickr and I wanted to bring together my photography with my words. Which uses a new wordpress theme. I hope any regular readers will come along and continue to follow the story. Out on a dyke.

http://beingnothingness.blogspot.com/2009/11/word-press-maddness.html
Monday, November 02, 2009. I've been having a go with wordpress as an alternative blogging mechanism and have transferred the wedding photography blog to one which uses a photo blogging template. I'm also working on some other sites as I've just bought a few domain names. I'll post these soon. Most exciting too is a new portrait photography website as we've decided to move into that area of work too. It's in devenlopment - haven't even got the price list in yet. being and nothingness: how to be an e-learning expert
http://beingnothingness.blogspot.com/2010/08/how-to-be-e-learning-expert.html
Saturday, August 28, 2010. How to be an e-learning expert. It's never been easier to reinvent yourself as an e-learning expert. Just by following the few simple steps below you too could be an expert within weeks. The only proviso I would give is that in order to achieve this you must be SHAMELESS. 1 Don't worry if you have no experience of teaching. We're all learners after all. 2 Get used to using the word ' pedagogy. 3 It is essential to have a blog. 5 Don't be tempted to use flash. On other expert's ...
