Parting is such sweet sorrow. This past weekend was my first weekend away from my Stella. We were in California for Mike's great aunt's 80th surprise birthday party. Monday, September 6, 2010. Moving from 2006 to 2009. Today I said goodbye to a loyal friend,. My Motorola Razr. I've had it since the fall of 2006. I think this makes it 120 in phone years. At one point in techie history, all the cool kids had one, but it has since fallen from grace, and now it just looks archaic. But regardless of appearance, my Razr was steadfast and got the job done. Last night the three of us headed to dinner at one of the nicer restaurants in town. We were seated next to two gentleman who I'm guessing were in their sixties. Lord of the Rings. Well slap my knee and call me Picabo! It's Olympics time again! Cue fantastical Olympic song here! I am all too thrilled to be on maternity leave during the Olympics. You can bet your wallet that I will be firmly planted in front of the tv watching as much of the coverage as they want to show me. Curling at 4 am? Synchronized skiing at 2 pm? It's intense and I just love it! So sad about that Georgian luger. Wow. How tragic.). PS How awesome does Vancouver look? I could live there.
