St George Island and St. Marys College. On the Horseshoe Bend. St George Island is a nice place to visit. There is a great boat ramp that is free of charge thanks to the State of maryland! The Island is connected to the main land by a bridge. NearbyUp the Potomac River is the St. Marys River Upon it is St. Marys college. The sailing ship "dove" is here. There is a cross at the point by the college. The "Dove" is to the right rear. St Marys college sits upon the banks of the "Horseshoe Bend".
