Tristram had been shooting them with a bow and arrow for practice, and was proud of himself. I took an arrow and tried to put one dog out of its misery, but had nothing to fire it from. The meeting was on the 89th floor, so that nobody could look in through the windows. Other skyscrapers were being built really fast, so we had to move. The way out of the building was via a wobbly bridge that stretched out to another building, 89 floors high. I commented that I didn’t want to see the bridge later, as I would get vertigo.
