We rented a taxi mini-bus and loaded all 22 kids and 4 teachers inside. The kids were so excited as we began our journey into town, pointing out landmarks that they recognized to show us that they had been to town before. Monday, April 20, 2009. During the spring outreaches we were joined for a couple of days by a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) outreach group from Tennesse. This group came with games, toys, candy, songs, and a presentation for our students. We had a lot of fun playing with parachutes, jump ropes, and new balls! The Transforming Love of Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:14 says that it is the love of Christ that compels us because Jesus died for all. In my life I come to realize more and more that it truly is the love of Christ that compels us to live our lives the way we do. It is his love that compels us to love. Even when there is no promise of love in return. But you know what? Isn't that how God's love changes us as well?

Friday, January 28, 2011. This is My Son in Whom I am Well Pleased. Who said, "This is my son in whom I am well pleased? This was the first question posed to our parents at a recent parents meeting. Our speaker, Steve Spicer, has a unique perspective on this question. Steve has a son, Scott, who has a disability. While in the DR for a men's conference, they kindly agreed to come share their story with our parents. Our parents answered the question with "Dios" (God). Correct! Saturday, January 22, 2011.

Students International- Education in Mata Gorda. Sunday, August 2, 2009. Summer is winding down here is Mata Gorda. Both the teachers and the kids were feeling like we needed to change things up here at the school So we decided to put on a VBS for the kids. It was pretty simple, but turned out to be so much fun.
