Similarity is stunning and I can't help but wonder if designers of the two other logos haven't been influenced by Walkman's ingenious logo. And probably also Musicmatch. Arena in "normal" lighting (click for a larger version). They even have "oldskool" demo competition for equipment made before 1992 - for example Commodore 64, Vic 20 or Amiga 500. Assembly is held at Hartwall Arena. A multi-purpose hall and a home to local ice hockey team Jokerit (The Jokers). You can follow the event on the net via AssemblyTV.

A friend of mine living in the UK has created a really cool widget for OS X Tiger called flickrframe. But what makes it even more special is the fact that it's one of the Staff Favourites. It must've been chosen - or at least approved - by His Steveness. It shouldn't take too long until Simon gets an official invitation to visit Apple HQ in Cupertino, California. Yes, I'm envious!
