Here is Francois holding a coconut, an "atomic coconut" the lady called it. They collected it after the nuclear tryouts that France did under Chirac. I think radiation is pretty powerful stuff. It's finally time to return the car and head back to the boat. That was a fine day and now it;s time for a beer.

Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Who has never wanted to come here? The last machine load of laundry I did was in the Galapagos Islands, everything since then has been by hand. I mean EVERYTHING, sheets, towels, dish towels, and clothes. We came into the marina Taina and I did 8 loads of laundry at 8 dollars the load. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Looking for a well. The next bay was really quiet and there was a very small port with a gas station. On our charts it wasn't listed what depth it was to get to the gas station so we had to just take a chance and go slow. What stress!
