http://villagedevoted.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
It took (and is still taking) a village to build the family we have always wanted. Two moms, one nearly 3 year old and a baby on the way. We are so fortunate. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. 128 beats per minute! Monday, October 18, 2010. Can I Hear You? We are off today for an ultrasound with the RE with the hopes of a continuing to grow fetus and to potentially hear a heartbeat. Some anxiety around hearing the heartbeat but I think that is to be expected! Sunday, October 10, 2010. I followed about 25 minute...

Vermont Twin Odyssey: Sick Day
http://vermonttwinodyssey.blogspot.com/2009/11/sick-day.html
Wednesday, November 25, 2009. I am home with Taylor today, aka Madam Pink Eye. It is a mild case and she is already on meds, so it should be fine for tomorrow. But, never a dull moment. I am attempting to work from home as much as I can, but it's a challenge. I will go in to work for a few hours this afternoon when Penny comes home early. A scene from my kitchen:. Taylor: What 'chu doin', Mama? Chris: I am unloading the dishwasher. T: Can me help? C: Sure, you can help. She helps for a few minutes. We ar...

Vermont Twin Odyssey: Being Thankful
http://vermonttwinodyssey.blogspot.com/2009/11/being-thankful.html
Tuesday, November 24, 2009. And we do not have money for a lot of extras. But, we do have jobs that are dependable and allow us to get by with our basic needs met. We are incredibly lucky to have come out on the other side of infertility with not one, but two children. "One of each," people say, "You are so lucky! The answer, of course is "No, not really.". My mom sent me a magazine article about the top 6 places to live in the United States. Our town was #3! Things I am thankful for today:. We are two m...

A Little Red in our Life: Time Spent
http://mommyjswildride.blogspot.com/2011/03/time-spent.html
A Little Red in our Life. Wednesday, March 9, 2011. This blog is my baby and the bane of my existence at times. I love it. It offers me an outlet and a voice, and yet, I feel as though even with a million and one blog posts in my head, time eludes me. Me: "Shit. I could sleep another hour". Brain: "Get the fuck out of bed. You already have your workout clothes on. This is why you sleep in them and spend so much time at night getting ready, so you can just get up and GO". Me: But I went yesterday.". Live ...

A Little Red in our Life: Fuck
http://mommyjswildride.blogspot.com/2011/03/fuck.html
A Little Red in our Life. Tuesday, March 15, 2011. I thought I'd do a few posts with one word titles. This one is "Fuck". Probably what Roccie is saying because this will be my second post in a week. Revival of a blog? I think not, just opportunity lol. Here, let me share a little history on the word Fuck:. It has various metaphorical meanings. The verb "to be fucked" can mean "to be cheated" (e.g., "I got fucked by a scam artist"), or alternatively, to be sexually penetrated. As a noun "...Fuck is a gre...

http://mommyjswildride.blogspot.com/2010_09_05_archive.html
A Little Red in our Life. Friday, September 10, 2010. September 11th, 2001. We all know it. It's one of those sad unfortunate events that happen in people's lifetimes that never needs explaining. So. Where were you at? Is this really happening? A theorist came on and explained that he felt Al Qaeda's plan was to hijack planes from the East Coast, to the West Coast, crashing each one into major landmarks and US populous. West Coast? I work in a major US city. What was more major then LA? Straight into the...
