Where do they live? Most of my carvings are by artists from the Siberian and Central Yupik with a few from the northern region of Alaska where the Inupiat call home. These regions are represented in the above map by the areas of Alaska shaded in royal blue and light blue respectively.
NATIVE ALASKAN WALRUS IVORY CARVINGS WHALE BONE
http://www.twomulestrading.com/whalebonehome.html
NATIVE ALASKAN WALRUS IVORY CARVINGS. Whale bone is widely available to native carvers. Many of the bones were originally discarded after being stripped of blubber and meat. Once the bones dry out and often many years after the bones were originally left, they are reclaimed and transformed into colorful carvings. Click on the picture link to see whale bone carvings:.

Two Mummas | Our Journey To Becoming Mums.
Our Journey To Becoming Mums. In The Blink Of An Eye. August 6, 2015. It’s been just over 3 weeks since Parker turned 1 and I felt like I should take the time to reflect on the year that’s been. Well as soon as he was born all those worries left my mind. The most important thing for us is he is safe, happy and healthy. More importantly, how did we survive? Parker was an early crawler and an early walker (apparently) but I don’t try rub that in people’s faces because you know what? He doesn’t say an...

Two mummies want a baby. The life and times of 2 girls trying to become mummies. I’m still here. Yup, I’m still here. It’s been a little over 2 months since my last post and I decided it was probably about time I posted, to let you know that I am still here! Two Mummy Ducks went out one day, over the hill and far away. Sunday, March 23, 2014. It has been awhile! We are still saving for our long term dream of travel. I'm really looking forward to it, getting foot treatments, having a swim (or three) and of course shopping! Hopefully the blogging will resume at some point.Stay tuned :). But regard...
