Two Nuts and a Baby: Footsteps for Fertility 5k Boise
http://www.twonutsandababy.blogspot.com/2014/05/footsteps-for-fertility-5k-boise.html
Footsteps for Fertility 5k Boise. It's almost been a week since the race in Boise and it still amazes me that we won! I honestly wasn't expecting to win since I've literally never won any type of giveaway, drawing, raffle, etc. I guess I was just saving all my luck for this one! I am so thankful for Footsteps for Fertility. Luckily they were able to get us another plane very quickly and we were on our way again. It really could not have been anymore perfect. After the race I was so exhausted and Isla was...

You were born on October 9, 2012 at 3:15pm, 11 whole days before your due date. You were a whopping 8 lbs 2 ounces, which was a huge surprise to me! You were so perfect and looked so much like your daddy! At about 3:45 in the morning my water broke! It was amazing, I've never seen your dad so happy! It was a glimpse of Heaven. You were beautiful. You had lots of blonde hair, the sweetest eyes, and of course some chubby, chubby cheeks! October 27, 2013 at 6:00 AM. Love hearing successful IVF stories!

In April, I will be running for a fertility grant from Footsteps for Fertility. If you have not heard about this program, it is AMAZING! Reproductive specialists have donated complete IVF cycles to the Footsteps for Fertility foundation that are raffled off after a 5k fun run. Along with the cycles, funds raised from the races and other donations are also given away in the form of $5000 grants to be used for infertility procedures! Right now there are three races, one in Idaho, Utah, and now Texas! Sugar...
Two Nuts and a Baby: Falling Into Place

Which also had sister locations in Utah. My friend could not say enough wonderful things about Dr. Foulk. And their experience with his office. We were currently living in Utah so I began looking into services and those locations. Financially it seemed like a long shot but my hope was still there. James and I discussed options of taking out loans, borrowing from family, and other ways to save but after being told that it could cost $20-30,000 it still seemed out of reach. Now I know that only 15 states.
Two Nuts and a Baby: If it's not ok, it's not the end.
http://www.twonutsandababy.blogspot.com/2014/07/if-its-not-ok-its-not-end.html
If it's not ok, it's not the end. It has been quite sometime since my last post but I am finally home and ready to get back to it! I want to first of all say that I know that not everyone (all 26 people) that read my blog are of my. But it's a huge part of who I am and without it, it don't know if I would have made it through this summer. So as you read this post if there are scriptures or quotes that you are like "hmmmm that's not in my bible! Idaho Center for Reproductive Medicine. Throughout the first...

Lacy and Crew: December 2014
http://www.lacyandcrew.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
On the first day of June, it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Rexburg. Peter and I were driving home from an outing to Mesa Falls, when he told me he had felt strongly since March that another baby was waiting to join our family. On Peter's birthday, the 24th of August. On the 29th of August. Not sure if that is something to be proud or sad of) while I searched for ideas to tell him. I decided to just spill the beans as soon as Oliver went down for a nap. September 10th - first baby dream, wahoo!

There's something about the summer months - the warm evenings, beautiful sunsets, sno-cone shacks and funky tan lines. I love that where we live offers us endless possibilities of adventuring outdoors - and in the summer it makes me want to explore everything, everywhere. I get extra stir crazy being at home during the summer months. If I could, we would probably be going 2-3 different places a week. I would love to hear your thoughts and comments! I do my best to respond to everyone! Div align="center" ...

I love the quick switch from open country filled with farm land to the mountain terrain with so many trees. Oliver got a kick out of looking at the so many bugs and picking the wildflowers. Wish I could say my sweet boy brought me those flowers that he picked. but he just chucked them into the air haha. A couple of things, for the books:. A few weeks ago, I ran to the grocery store with just Oliver (or maybe I had both boys, I can't remember). Here's what I know: as I was checking out, my sweet littl...

Ramblings I Want to Remember. Disclaimer: I am sure there are grammatical errors left and right and this probably doesn't even flow well. you've been warned. I'm not sure why I think I might want to remember these ramblings, but here they are. Ahh it is evening time and I am so bored! I think 3/4 of January have been spent being sick. As demonstrated by his face in this photo (look at his eyes : after some vomiting. On the very bright side of things, Oliver has started school! Peter is in the primary, so...

The two nuts är nu äntligen återförenade igen!

Two Nuts and a Baby
On Friday February 20. I decided that you were going to be born within the next 24 hours, or I was going to lose my mind! Over the next few hours the contractions became closer and closer and more intense, so around 1:00 am on the 21. Your dad and I left for the hospital. After getting about half way there, we realized we didn’t have my wallet so I had no ID or insurance card. So of course, we turned around to go home and get it. We finally made it to the hospital around 2:00 am. When they handed you to ...
