Saturday, November 30, 2013. It's a day away from December. That must mean it is time to decorate. We got the girls white tree down and they were all wanting to decorate. Although it is tough, I had to let my OCD ways go and give full creative license to Lily and Sophia. It is their tree after all. Yes, that's Texas for you. Tree decorating in shorts and a tank top. Mom, is it my turn yet? I'm happy I let them do this tree themselves. This makes it special to them and a tradition that we will continue.

Thursday, February 27, 2014. Only in Texas do they have a day at school devoted to the rodeo coming to town. Uniform dress is required at the school, but on this special day, the kids can leave the uniform at home and wear their best rodeo gear. Friday, June 28, 2013. The annual Fourth of July parade is today. Just like last year, the girls pink Cadillac is all decked out in red, white and blue. And Maddie has on her red and white. Would you be surprised if I told you they took home another first place win for their car and outfits? But it's not about winning (so I am told), as long as they had fun. They had a blast.
