The Vermont Edition: September 2011
http://thevermontedition.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 29, 2011. Last Hurrah in Maine! It was the opening weekend of bird hunting season, so Elijah and I decided to head to Maine one last time, while Ed went to Wheelock. Someday my little buddy will be going to Wheelock WITH Ed, and I'll lose my traveling partner! The weather turned out to be much more appealing than predicted, and in fact my only complaint was the mosquitoes. They actually made it difficult to hang outside for very long without a good, thick covering of DEET. I LOVE that...

Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Summer 2011 (Days 4 and 5). I don't seem to be able to remember my camera lately, so no new pictures to post. We're getting into the groove of summer vacation, and the weather has been very helpful! Yesterday our friends Beth and Dianna (age 4) came over for lunch, after which we went for a bike ride on the rec path and landed back at Beth's house for some swimming (it was hot! He woke up a bit edgy, but we didn't think too much of it. Sunday, June 26, 2011. Today we arrived home ...

Tuesday, October 26, 2010. This past weekend was the Vt-NEA Convention, so the schools were closed both Thursday and Friday. I don't know anyone who actually goes to these conventions, and I'm certain their days are limited. But for now, I (along with thousands of other VT teachers) took this 4-day weekend to relax and rejuvenate. I got to Lisa and Dan's around 5:00PM. Joanie was just arriving and Mary and Martha had been there for about an hour. The next morning, we had breakfast and made lunch while re...

The Slumber Party: Léna singing
http://theslumberparty.blogspot.com/2015/06/lena-singing.html
A Vermonter's view of life's trials and tribulations on the French Riviera. Sunday, June 28, 2015. Posted by Julie Alexander. I would say that Lena seemed to be somewhat bored with this whole thing. Am I correct? 6/28/15, 7:50 PM. I think Lena was just playing it cool cuz shes so talented! They sounded really good for such a young group. I like the two in the front - the blond girl giving the boy dirty looks for waving his arms round in her space. Great job Lena. We enjoyed your singing! 6/29/15, 12:02 PM.
