http://www.thelilypadcottage.com/2014/06/diy-headboard.html
A place for all things creative. June 4, 2014. DIY Headboard – more changes in the master bedroom. Remember the new bed that is in our master bedroom? I showed you the other week when I shared my new night stands. Well, my whole bed switcheroo came about on a rainy Monday morning when I had a serious case of the blahs. What better way to get out of my funk than to rearrange my entire house? You do this too, I hope. Are slowly taking over the world, ok well maybe just the house). Grunting like I’m i...

Our Happily Ever After: Chchanges!!
http://joshamyhancock.blogspot.com/2015/05/chchanges.html
Our Happily Ever After. Thursday, May 21, 2015. Well, the day has finally come. Josh got a job! With a company called Sorenson Genomics in SLC. Because he was found by the recruiter, he will work for them for 3 months at a hourly rate, then get a salary raise after that point. But we are happy and blessed. Josh is going to commute for those 3 months, until after he signs on permanently with Sorenson Genomics. Also, we want to wait to move until after the baby. May 25, 2015 at 6:42 PM. Our Happily Ever After: Nolan's First Temple Experience
http://joshamyhancock.blogspot.com/2015/05/nolans-first-temple-experience.html
Our Happily Ever After. Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Nolan's First Temple Experience. Last Saturday, some friends of ours had extra tickets to the Payson Temple Open House. I really want Nolan to be able to go inside a temple, and feel the Spirit there, so I thought this was a great opportunity. We went on the last day, SOO it was pretty crowded and Nolan had a REALLY hard time waiting in line. He hated the white footies so they let him go in his socks. I told Nolan, "Mom and Dad got married in the temple, N...

http://joshamyhancock.blogspot.com/2015/07/its-been-month.html
Our Happily Ever After. Monday, July 20, 2015. It's been a month! Bennett is almost one month old! And he is still in the NICU. This has been one of the most grueling, heart-wrenching things I have ever experienced. And the other experiences that have come close, have also happened this year. Yeah, it's been a year for the birds. But anyway! Here are some pictures of Bennett. Kelsey came to visit us all the way from DC! Bennett snuggled right up to her. Aunt" Noel came to visit! Our Happily Ever After: Diaphragmatic Eventration
http://joshamyhancock.blogspot.com/2015/08/diaphragmatic-eventration.html
Our Happily Ever After. Sunday, August 2, 2015. I thought I should post this. This is Bennett's condition. They found out he had this on the day we was born, with an x-ray. It is hard to find everyday explanations for this condition, if you google it, you will find a lot of medical papers. But here is as simple as I can describe it:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Our Happily Ever After: Nolan's 3rd surgery!
http://joshamyhancock.blogspot.com/2015/05/nolans-3rd-surgery.html
Our Happily Ever After. Tuesday, May 12, 2015. I hope he's not embarassed in the future that I documented his 3 surgeries fixing his genitals :). But I feel like it's an important thing that's happened in our family and so I want to record it! Here are some before and after pictures (not of his penis, don't worry! Isn't this the saddest picture you've ever seen? He had a hard time coming out of the anesthesia. At least we got to have lots of cuddles, poor baby. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Our Happily Ever After. Saturday, June 27, 2015. Bennett Samuel Hancock (finally picked a middle name- took us forever! Was born on Thursday, June 25th, 2015 at 8:04 am. He weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces and was 47 cm long. He is beautiful and dark-haired and we love him! We woke up the morning of June 25th at 4 am because Nolan was throwing up. :( We removed all of his blankets and stuff. Then we laid him back down. By that time, it was like 4:30 am and we decided to just stay up! While I was holding him, h...

Our Happily Ever After: NICU
http://joshamyhancock.blogspot.com/2015/07/nicu.html
Our Happily Ever After. Sunday, July 5, 2015. This was the highlight of my 4th of July weekend. I admit I wasn't a super fun mom. We didn't do a parade or fireworks or patriotic outfits. Our neighbor generously shared sparklers but that was it. I feel guilty about it even though having a baby in the NICU and recovering from a c-section are good excuses, but I just feel bad still. Mom guilt, argh! My mom did take me shopping which was sooo nice. I got things that weren't maternity. Yay! But, the nurses at...
